About Nkgwana

Nkgwana is a magazine for African Poetry. 'Nkgwana' is our little pot, in Setswana, which holds the poems that are our lifeline.

We are based in Cape Town, South Africa, but we are looking to publish poetry from all over the continent. Our editors hail from Zimbabwe, Botswana, and South Africa.

Nkgwana Magazine is a project of the University of Cape Town Poetry Society.
